I use the Scotty Powerlock and scotty troll master, one on each side. My clinic kayaks are rigged powerlocks on both, no trollmasters. I also have rod safeties tied off to the Rhynobar, that I clip onto the reel handles durring trolling, launches and landings. Hope that helps, TL Rhino
