The built in temp in the transducer works great but it made me think that it would not be useable to the party that mounts it inside their yak. The double cone of the P5 really shines and even in the shallows the signal does not scare any fish, so that myth is debunked. Really a plug and play item but you do have to add an inline fuse rated a 1-1.5 amps.
