Jas, thanks for sharing about the mok explorer. I got the tandem and so far I'm fully satified. I do envy the huge forward hatch of the explorer, but I wouldn't trade it for my more accessible center hatch. I hit a local pond yesterday and compared to my xt it was like being on a deck boat. I went home with a stringer full of crappie and a smile on my grill. I'll hit the open water this weekend for sure and post its seaworthiness. The folks @ mok were kind and accommodating, not to mention that the bare hull is priced @ only $400. I'm thinking of heading Malibu way and maybe toss in some surf fishing. Big Up!
