7 ^TH ANNUAL KAYAK FISHING DERBY
Sunday September 21st at KING HARBOR, Redondo Beach, Calif.

RULES, SCHEDULE, and ENTRY FORM
This event is open to all kayakers, as long as their craft is human powered.
This is in the interest of fairness. 
 
The top prizes will be awarded to anglers with the first, second and third largest fish.
Quantities of fish are of no interest here and only serve to deplete the resources.
No skates, rays or sharks are eligible.
The entry fee is per person NOT per kayak.

 
All anglers must have a valid California Fishing License
and have Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Devices.

 
You may LAUNCH at sunrise as long as you have pre-registered, and the producers of this event have received your signed waiver.

NOTE: Minors cannot sign waivers.

The photos taken by the producers of this event will be the sole property of the producers and may be used to promote future events and sponsors products

The group photo will be posted on the Internet for you to download.

 
OFFICIAL LAUNCH TIME IS 7:00am
You can launch earlier if you are PRE- REGISTERED

 
ADDITIONAL PRIZES 
The “Official Event T-Shirt” is included in the entry fee.  All entrants’ names will be placed in a hat and additional prizes will be awarded.  We make sure that prizes are distributed equitably, 2 or 3 people will NOT get all the “top” prizes. Of course the top finishers WILL get the major prizes.  In prior years we had more than enough prizes for all, we expect to this year also. Last year participants took home tackle and accessories worth at least $25.00, (a very low estimate) hopefully we will again.
