Custom Bait Tanks and Tournament Livewells
Custom bait tanks and livewells built custom to order. With rod/net/gaf holders and without. With water tight battery box or without. Rod holders on the left side, right side, back, front, or no rod holders at all. Nylon straps with brass snaps (extra charge) or without. Email me at info@kayaksportfishing.com to discuss or simply place your order for the stock version.
The standard version has a total volume of 4.7 gal. For tournament livewells I have an 8 gal total volume version (extra charge) that measures 13"H x 14"D x 14"W. The outflow is placed a few inches below the rim to prevent fish from escaping while the lid is off. This also reduces the water volume to 5-6 gal. Since water weighs around 7lbs per gal, this also reduces the fill weight. Water volume can be adjusted per request.

Hey J, I love the tank. It's worked so well for me with the perko plug and switch hard-wired into the yak. I haven't taken any pics of it yet, but if you took any of mine or Mike's, you should post a pic here.
Thanks again. _________________ "I told her I loved her and she gave me a pen."

Thanks for the testimonial Charles.
I forgot to mention that I can install a plug n play Perko or SeaDog electrical set up (extra charge). I'll post some picts but basically it works much like a car lighter works. The female receiver is installed on the outside of the battery box or kayak. The male end connect to the wiring on the bait tank.
In this picture you can see the Perko plug n play set up. In this example I installed a small hatch in the rear of the kayak to accomodate a rechareable battery. The female receiver is connected to the battery. This same set up can be installed on the battery box. The battery box system is a little less permanent of a mounting option as you can transfer the tank from kayak to kayak. In this picture you'll also notice a 90 degree adjustable outflow elbow. If you have self bailing scupper holes in your tankwell the outflow elbow isn't neccessary. Though per request I can direct the outtake to flow outside of the kayak.
