Hooped the Lower part of SMB tonight with Larry N and Gabe... Started about 5:30 and set our hoops out in windy weather with lots of current...At about 7:45 we decided that we had fought the wind and currnet enough and called it a night...I ended up with 2 legal bugs and 5 legals rock crabs...
A little side note...I had 3 bugs from Mon (up to 5.8lbs) in a ice chest with a big aerator...I have kept bugs like this for almost 2 weeks and was going to keep them for a BBQ...We'll last night the 5.8lb bug decides to lay her eggs and made a big mess of the water and they all died...They water was all milky orange and she had a bunch of eggs under her tail and a bunch still inside....Looks like some of the big females are starting to lay their eggs early....Maybe she didn't want to be in the Fred Hall Show

Good job on the bugs kenny. Is it the time of year for the bugs to be laying eggs? Or is it early? That spider crab I caught on Monday had a bunch of eggs also.
