No one is talking about the north county......How's the red tide? Anybody hit CIH or Ventura harbor lately? I was thinking about heading out friday if anyone wants to meet up, I'd love company.

I was out on Thursday and Sunday. No luck. Few people were getting one and two. Doesn't seem wide open yet. Haven't heard of limits taken there

Just a reminder about the posting policy for the Kayaking for Crustacean forum:

Jim and I would also like to respectfully request to please not be too area specific when it comes to lobster reports (for ex. south jetty of XYZ Harbor). As well, please refraim from requesting specific areas from posted reports on the public board. A successful public bug report will sometimes draw an excessive amount of not just kayakers but private boaters to one specific area. If the lobsters are crawling in San Diego, they're crawling in Orange, LA, etc; We would like to be sensitive to the local harbors and communities which are sometimes at the receiving end of this sudden rise in traffic. By no means are we saying to not post your reports or questions. On the contrary, we invite everyone to post their reports, general discussions and any questions they might have.
