The season is open brother swabo. You can keep 30 crabs per person. Crabs much measure no less than 4" across the body. They are mighty tasty and you can even get'm in the day time. Set a few hoops down while you're fishing. Set'm and forget, come back later and check'm.
In regards to spiny lobster, that season I believe opens on Sat Oct.3. The DFG wording is something like "season opens on the Saturday that proceeds the first Weds in Oct".

You guys are funny.
Seeing how I am Lobster fishing location challenged (based on my numbers last year) I was thinking of taking this day time crab approach and find some good productive crab grounds in the day around various rocky areas and mark them on the GPS. During open season return during the night for a crack at the lobster. |
