After some technical difficulty: tangled nets, malfunctioning lights etc. I managed my first legal for '05 in about 35ft, first pull. Thought it was going to be a good nite. But that was it, just one. However, I ran into the Saba Slayer and a buddy (don't remember his name, sorry) They didn't do too much better???  Maybe Jim will come forward and tell the truth.
A pleasure meeting you guys Jim. Maybe we can hook up out there sometime. I sure I could learn a few things. |

Yea Muttley, we did OK.
It took me twice as long as long as "?" to get my limit last night.
"?" had his limit in 26 minutes, it took me about 45 minutes. But I did get the big one at 4 1/2 pounds!
That deep water reef has been pretty good but it's a lot of work pulling from that deep and the wind bump and swell last night made it pretty challenging too.

Actually, I think Saba has a big cage full of big bugs tied up out there somewhere. When he gets hungry, he goes out there and picks some. |
