This should be a great place for the novice hoopers to get some questions answered, and for the old pros to share some secrets!
Do any of you divers have some good pre season info.? Are you guys seeing lots of crawling Bugs? Anybody been crabbing?

I was out a week ago near an orange county jetty. There were more bugs (and big ones) than I have ever seen while diving for them. There were several groups of 4-6 monsters. These folks must go into deep hiding once the season starts.

I hope a few of those big ones hang around a few more weeks ...with the big surf that's forcast the next few days. I hope it doesn't push them out into deeper water.
