I've been thinking the same thing except that I can't seem to find any solid ones. The only ones that I find are the hollowed ones. _________________ Anyway, that's what the voices in my head tell me. |

Home centers such as Lowes or Homedepot have rubber stoppers of all sizes in the speciality fastner section. All you have to do is attach a cord. This is the same thing as the original Ocean kayak scupper pluggs.
The foam practice golf balls work great on smaller scuppers. Walmart or just about any other sporting goods store should carry them. They are cheap too.
Some guys use pool noodle that is cut down to size. Do a search. I remeber seeing a "how to" or "DIY" on this subject a while back. Check out www.kayakfishingstuff.com. The DIY topic may have been posted there.

In my sptw I use foam balls made for an updated version of a "burp gun" Can find them in the toy section of target or wallymart, or occasionally biglots or 99cet store. I run 40# mono through them & tie off a bead on the end so I can pull them out if necessary & also secure them to my seat.
