Ok, I took a trip to Guatemala with the intention of fishing sail fish. Guatemala is well known for having the best sailfish fishing in the world; so I thought it just might be a good place to give it a try.

awesome report and nice picts of the sailfish

Actually my wife is from Guatemala, and has family there that we stay with. So do to those fortunate circumstances, I'm able to do a fishing trip like that. I'm working on doing some kayak fishing there. Sportfishing is exceptionally limited on Guatemala's pacific, but they have a bunch of real fighters, i.e., jacks, dodos, roosters, TFT... Perhaps this summer.
