Hi Chris,

I'm in Centreville and am just getting into Kayaks. I have a Manta Ray 14.5 and I just bought a Ultamate 12 that should be delivered next week. I am not exactly set to fish yet, but should be soon, at least on creeks and rivers...not ready to hit the Bay yet. Give me a shout if your in the area.

Joe

I'm also from the Eastern shore and looking for people to fish with in the spring, I mainly do fresh water but am looking to start doing some bay fishing around the bridge.

I'm new to the area and kayak fishing. I'm out in Columbia, so the bay isn't that far of a drive.

I just ordered a Malibu Stealth 14 and it should be here by the end of the month.

You guys still looking for fishing partners?

There is a great kayak forum in Maryland. It is at snaggedline.com. These guys fish all over, but mostly around the bay bridge. One note, for the last few days there has been a problem with the site. Looks like possibly a server problem. However, don't give up on the Maryland Kayak Fishing Forum, snaggedline.ocm, it is worth the visit. They talk about all sorts of kayak and fishing related issues, from novice to experienced. Keep trying, they will have the forum up again soon. I have been kayak fishing for about four years and just recently discovered the forum, and now I'm lost when it is down. The group has monthly meet and greets at various locations.

hey all, new member Mike here. Ive fished the bay on my perception caster 12 a few times this summer off of hart miller island. fishing kind of sucked around there i only caught a few white perch and croakers. it was my first time every fishing the bay on my own. I primarily fish freshwater so far but Ive got my yak pretty well rigged fish/depthfinder buncha rod holders etc.. I am also looking to get into fishing the bay bridge this coming spring, from the Western Shore side however... i could obviously cross over to meet up though. ive gotta get some stuff for my yakima rack to make it compatible with my new car or else i'd be there fishing this coming weekend. Ill be on the site periodically over the winter to check in and hope i can meet up with some of you guys next spring and slay some cbb rocks.
