i live in the burbs of chicago and i normally go out to the salt mines in mazonia (braidwood).
i like it there but there a few more gar and catfish then what i like

anyone know of any other spots
i really like the shallows since i do flyfish
and wouldnt mind trying some different fish may trout or salmon

any suggestions?
i dont mind going far if anyone from indiana knows of any good shallow water to go yakfishing on
