Work let me off early so I darted to CIH for a session of hooping.
Terrible conditions. Low tide, clear water, low swell, low current and what ever else. Oh and a seal.
You would think Friday night it would be packed, but no. The rain must have scared them away. A total of 3 boaters plus 1 kayaker(me).
3 spider crabs, then nothing. A seal tried to pull the mac out of the net.
Then it started to pour rain. The rain must have woken up the rock crabs because during the rain I was able to get 2. After the rain nothing.
I heard of 1 short and 1 legal out of 4 of us. Slow night. My bait was hardly touched. Headed home. Thats like skunk number 3 at CIH for me.
